This is my roll on story. My story is about a Wizard,a Tornado and I had to roll a dice to get them.

I had to right my story on the next slide down from the first.

After that I copied and phased the photo's to make it look the the story I wrote.

And then I copied and phased it on to the last slide and then I change the font and then size.

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is Number of the day because my favourite activity is maths and it is math revision.

Something that has challenged me this term has been the math mystery because each week we get different types of questions.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was maths mystery because it challenged me the most out of all the maths activities.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was the blog challenges because it was one of the most fun activities.

An aim I have for my learning is to learn all my times tables.

How i'm going with my Matariki Jigsaw

I am going really good with my Matariki Jigsaw it is really fun to do.I love how it is turning out so far i'm trying to make a colour pattern but the parts might not go in the place.

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be sort of easy but it actually was really hard

I decided to use my own kind of design but it was kind of like the javelin Paper Plane.

The hardest part was figuring out how I can make my own type of Paper Plane but also I had trouble folding it.

During our competition time I managed to score 32.

Tennis Ball Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Amy-leigh and Jessica

At first we had trouble with trying to think how it was going to stand up.

The easiest thing was building our tower a bit bigger that what we had it.

The hardest thing was trying to make it stand up and trying to make it stand with the ball in it.

The best part of our tower was the top of it where the ball was holding up.

Our tower looked really good but we didn't put any decorations and didn't even draw on our Tennis Tower.

In the end it turned out very well as we wanted it to turn out.

Blog Challenge Emoji

For my blog challenge emoji I done a face that has the corona virus its a girl and she is crying because she just got tested for the corona virus and it came out positive. Before she got tested for the coronavirus she had the flu. My emoji has tears and she is sad and she has covid-19 around and on her and also is burning up.I used a circle for my head and I draw lines for my eyes because they are closed on my emoji.I used these sun shaped things for the covid-19 a rainbow for the mouth and some tear drops. The hardest was coming up with an emoji. The easiest part was the eyes. What i love about my emoji I created is the tear the look sort of realistic to real tears.

Maitearoha's Week 1 Reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week is that the teachers all dressed up but to the, last day of the first
week of school.we got to dress up.

What was I nervous about this week is coming to school in my pajamas on dress up day.

For dress up day I dressed up in my pajamas I wore a dressing gown, a matching pajama pants, and a
t-shirt under neath. And instead of bringing normal shoes I brang my slippers.

The funniest thing has has happened this week is that Mr Kyle dressed up as a girl,he put on a wig but
he is bold. He even but on a dress.

I think the best dressed person was Chrysler because, she went colorful and not plain
like a brown hat. She went for a colorful hat instead. And that is why I picked her.

First chapter challenge of 2020

For my chapter challenge I made a train first I drawn it on my art book before I made it.
I made it with cardboard, hot glue, tape, a feather and ice block sticks.
The hardest part was sticking the wheels on because first off I started with tape but it kept falling off so I decided to hot glue it instead of tape. I think I have a super star because I didn't put all my effort into it.

Visual pepeha 2020

Over the last week I have been working on my visual pepeha.

I am proud of how my star turned out because I thought my photos would not fit because one of my photos were big.

What I found challenging was drawing my mountain because I wanted to get the perfect shape for my mountain.
I worked with Maia to create my whanau star.
